I’m Kimberley Baxter, but go by Kim for the most part! Co - founder of House of Growth.

My journey into HR has been a true adventure, full of highs, challenges, and invaluable lessons. After gaining some early experience with large retail organisations, I realized my desire for making a real impact was better suited to the dynamic world of start-ups. This realization led me to pursue a CIPD-accredited degree in Human Resources and Business Management at Leeds Beckett University over 10 years ago, solidifying my passion for the field and setting the stage for rapid career growth. I am a huge believer that we should always be learning and developing our skills and to this effect I'm now preparing to begin my master’s in Occupational and Business Psychology, a natural extension of my focus on building positive organisational cultures.

I've climbed the ranks from HR Administrator to Director-level roles, scaling teams and supporting businesses to grow exponentially. While I'm a generalist by experience, my heart is in shaping workplace culture. My entrepreneurial spirit draws me to start-ups and scaling businesses, where I understand the unique pressures and opportunities that founders face. I believe that culture is the bedrock of any successful business—if it's strong, it acts like a resilient immune system; if it’s weak, even small challenges can cause turbulence.

On a personal note, I'm a proud mother of three boys, a wife, and deeply family-oriented. Starting this business was driven by my experience with burnout—if I’m going to work hard, I wanted it to be on my own terms, providing purposeful, impactful HR solutions that genuinely help businesses grow without breaking the bank.

Hi, I’m Jeroen - better known as Jay - co-founder of House of Growth, where I bring together my passion for customer experience and technology to create innovative solutions for growing businesses.

Originally from the Netherlands, I made the life-changing move to the UK nine years ago. This transition marked the beginning of a transformative career journey. Starting with a strong foundation in customer service and experience, I began focusing on the tech industry after moving here, where I was able to apply my skills in new and exciting ways. My experience in the UK has shaped not only my professional growth but also my approach to problem-solving, combining the best of customer-centric thinking with technology-driven innovation.

My last role as a business analyst allowed me to dive deeper into the tech space, helping businesses streamline their operations and make data-driven decisions. This blend of customer-focused experience and technical know-how inspired me to co-found House of Growth, where I focus on providing bespoke solutions that meet each client’s unique needs.

The UK has been an incredible place for my personal and professional development, and it’s where I truly found my path in tech and entrepreneurship.
